Eagle Island repeated this weekend | TUNE IN TO BBC 2 SCOTLAND ON SUNDAY 22ND JANUARY AT 6.10PM FOR ANOTHER CHANCE TO WATCH THE FANTASTIC "EAGLE ISLAND" Scottish cameraman and presenter Gordon Buchanan returned home to the Isle of Mull in 2004, after 15 years absence, to rediscover its wonderful wildlife and magnificent scenery. Gordon spent over a year filming on the island, and a week with Sea Wild Scotland. It didn’t take him long to realise what he had been missing; sea eagles, golden eagles, otters, dolphins, whales and basking sharks make the island one of Britain’s undisputed wildlife hotspots. Gordon’s BBC Natural World Wildlife Documentary "Eagle Island" aired on the 26th of October 2005 and was a huge success – the following day, enquiries to the local Tourist Information Centre and Sea Wild Scotland increased by a staggering amount, with many people eager to experience the diverse wildlife and beautiful scenery that Mull has in abundance. For more information on this spectacular documentary please visit Mike Birkhead Assosiates or visit the RSPB website.
